Dipper came to our family in the Summer of 1998. We were moving to a new home with a large yard and promised ourdaughter she could pick a dog of her choice. Our pastors family Labradors had puppy’s so we went to check them out. We fell in love with Dipper immediately! Our daughter named her that because she was dipping her paw in the water and scooping it out. So the name fit. First we thought she would be more of an outdoor dog but as time passed, she inchedher way deeper into our hearts and further into the house. First just the family room with a baby gate, then the mainlevel and yes, you can guess finally stretched out on the bed or sofa. Dipper lived a good life, as a “City Lab”, loved going for walks and being close to each of us. Her playmate was our Tuxedo cat “Corona”. Dipper always checked the yard to make sure it was safe and no foxes were in the area. Corona misses her buddy, sharing treats, drinking out of the water bowl together and just hanging out. We miss you, Dipper, job well done.
